eLearning Broward at Sheridan Technical Center is proud to announce that the online GED Elluminate workshops that our instructors do has been highlighted as a “promising practice” by the Florida Literacy Coalition (FLC)! What a great honor it is to have our online workshops recognized by FLC.

The new school year brought about a new program at Sheridan Technical Center – the Green Ready Certificate Program. This program prepares students to sit for the Green Associate exam offered by the USGBC and the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). The Green Associate credential denotes basic knowledge in green design, construction and operations for those interested in the LEED rating.

The program is geared toward training as an introduction into LEED and sustainable green building practices for all and will take into account exam preparation for those that want to take the LEED Green Associate and LEED-AP+exams. Read more…
